• Using the Team You Have (Small Church)

  You, almost assuredly, already have all the people you need to fulfill the call of God sitting in your church at this very moment.  But who are they? And how do you recruit them and get them to work together? In this fun and practical session you will discover how amazing you can sound and how far you can go with what you already have.
• Who Mentors you? Who are you mentoring?
  - Stan Endicott
  Who mentors you?  Who are you mentoring?   Does mentoring have to do with age?  Is mentoring a weekly, scheduled process?   How long does mentoring last?  Should I try to find a mentor?   Maybe you have been mentoring someone without even realizing it.  It’s important to get clarity on what mentoring is and what it isn’t.  This class experience will help you understand mentoring.

• Trading up - from Song Leader to Experience Pastor
  - Tim Foot
  We’ll talk about what makes a great worship experience, how to lead it and dig into stage presence, Flow, and sensitivity.

• Team Vs. Group
  - Steve and Shawn Reed
  How do you get a diverse group of volunteers who don’t speak the same musical language or have the same preferences to become a team? It takes the planning, strategy, skills and confidence that you will learn in this fun and practical session. Steven + Shawn will share from their decades of church service and extensive travels to churches of all shapes and sizes what they have learned about how to run an effective rehearsal, how to bring unity by dealing with conflict/attitudes, how to be the leader you were created for, and much more.
• Teams and Rehearsals
  - Stan Endicott
  Rehearsals are one of the most important opportunities of the week for worship ministries.  Rehearsals build common trust, community, skill development, volunteer development and put your worship team in a place of most potential for the weekend services.   Rehearsals are not “run throughs”.  Don’t be among those churches who say, “oh, we don’t rehearse, we just do a “run-thru”  a couple hours before the service.    Rehearsals are GOLD!

• What Makes a Great Worship Leader?

  We’ll dig into what needs to be on our check list as we seek to lead transformational worship experiences - there may be some things on this list that surprise you!
• Expanding Ministry Effectiveness through Strengthening Key Relationships
  - Joseph Bolin (Cal Baptist University)
  Practical ways you can increase your effectiveness as a worship leader by understanding the dynamics of "relationship with your congregation." I think it will serve as a nice compliment to both of your presentations. 
• Analyzing Worship Music Trends From CCLI’s Top Song Lists
  - Paul Herman (CCLI)
  Paul Herman from CCLI will host an interactive session where together we’ll analyze CCLI’s Top Song lists through the years. Also, feel free to come with any questions about CCLI or copyright issues.
